Earlier this evening the BAFTA's
took place in London with Harry Potter actors Daniel Radcliffe and Jason Isaacs in attendance. Sadly, Order of the Phoenix did not receive any awards even though it had been nominated in two categories.

UPDATE: On a award related note, Order of the Phoenix won the Outstanding Special Effects in a Motion Picture at this year's VES award show.

I watched it all last night waiting to see Harry Potter win their 2 awards and was convinced they would but sadly they didn't!!

Too bad about no awards. In many ways not a real surprise. Although good, it was more of the same effects in this film compared to the earlier ones. The next two films still have a chance.

Love the photos of Dan with Daniel Day-Lewis! Dan didn't present the Best Actor category, did he? I TiVo'd the BAFTAs on BBCamerica last night be haven't had a chance to watch yet. Anyway, I'm sure Dan had a lot of questions for an amazing actor like Daniel Day-Lewis -- I would love to have been a fly on the wall during their conversation!

I didn't think OOTP would win an award anyways, because it is still classed as a 'childrens' film dispite its rating. So I don't think BAFTA takes it seriously enough as a piece of distunguished film. I watched it anyways, hoping that the judges might have changed their mind set.
