I'm a little confused about this book, so did she write it then? If she did then I'd definately like to read it if she's selling them.

I have suspicions that this may be released to the public sometime. Publishing and distribution take quite a bit of time, so it may not be right away, but I bet we see it available sometime in the near future (we can't get too greedy I suppose, we did just have DH 5 months ago!) Well, I hope my suspicions are true, because I would love to read the Beetle Bard tales! It would be even nicer to have her hand written, illustrated copy, but until I win the lottery that's not going to happen!

They should of read a different story! We all heard that one before! The book looks so delicate. Hopefully one day it will be published.

He's not allowed to read any more? doesn't the idiot know the whole of that story was already in the 7th book? Apparently not. Seeing the illustrations of the cackling stump and the skulls with the Peverell coat of arms on the middle one gave me the shivers. But the good kind of shivers. Like woo, I'm so excited I've stopped breathing. Good luck to all the people which more than a coupla pennies to rub together who bid for this book.

I think it is wonderful thet JKR has produced this for her friends and collegues as a tribute to their hard work for Harry too.
I also think it's great that she can get a lot of money to go to deserved charity.
I do have one suggestion to the fantastic JKR, once you have raised the money can you please have it printed like 'Fantastic Beasts' and 'Quidditch Through the Ages' and again donate the proceeds to charity?

Well, that video was a bit of a let-down!
I was assuming that a DIFFERENT passage from the one already in Deathly Hallows was going to be read! I mean, that whole "I can't read any more"?!!! What's up with that?! Like it's a big state secret?
Big deal. I'm happy for the charities, but I think it's completely over-hyped and JK Rowling should think more about us true Harry Potter fans that will never be able to afford something like that book (*sniff!*).

That was kind of a rip off, cause we allready knew about that story, it was the one Hermione read in Luna's house to harry, ron, and luna's dad. That's where they get the cloak, and the wand and the ring....i belive, i don't remeber what te 3rd one was.
That is still very beautiful looking of a book, those friends of hers are awefully lucky.

I really would like to read that book! It would be awesome because of the Harry Potter series being over now. The fans could atleast have a small thing to look forward to reading from the same universe as Harry Potter.

They read the one we already knew from the book! Couldn't they have read from "Babbity Rabbity and her Cackling Stump" or something we didn't already know?
But it's cool that she handwrote all of them and illustrated them herself.

Wow, that's SO cool! That would've taken her a long time! That makes me upset that I can't have it! Even if it's not handwritten.

I would love to own that book. I think it's very unfair of her to auction it off. She could have made much more money for charity if she had had the book printed so that the fans could buy it. Harry Potter fandom is global.
