To add to our previous news post in which David Yates talks about the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) gives his thoughts
on the film and what he is looking forward to filming.
I'm really looking forward to filming the cave and all the stuff in there with the lake and the Inferi. Me and [Michael] Gambon in a row boat for a few days. It's gonna be amazing.
I thought it was all gonna be largely visual effects, but they have built the cave. So it's gonna be very interesting to film.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is set to be released in November 2008.
UPDATE: To add to Dan giving his thoughts on the next movie, in a recent video interview
Dan answers 10 questions posed by AP. Thanks again to Ed from Voices from Krypton for link.

I can't wait for the cave scene myself. It is going to be a very powerful scene, as will the Tower. November 2008 seems like such a long time away, but i am kind of glad they are not releasing the movies within under a year of eachother. After the end of the books came so soon, I want these last movies to take their time!

Should be interesting to see how they handle that scene and the others. I imagine the attention to detail will be just amazing. The behind the scenes material should be a lot of fun.

Ohh I am so glad they aren't going to fill the whole movie up with a bunch of special effects, ALthough the special effects can be cool, having to much can ruin a film....

Wow, I'm glad they actually built the cave and didn't do a visual effects one, because that would completely ruin it. Yes, that's the only part I'm really looking forward to in the movie...wow, November. The only good thing about that is that that'll mean that Deathly Hallows comes out in the summer of 2010 like they've been planning for years.

This film is going to be made in about a year - that seems so short compared to all the others! I suppose the actors are older now and they can all work long hours. Dan being 18 must really help! When he was 11 they must have been really restricted.

Amazing! They actually BUILT the cave. I am surprised because I also thought that it was largely going to involve special effects. The cave should be a good scene. I can't wait to see it. November is a long time away, but I am largely looking forward to this film.

The actually built a cave? Wow, they really wanna make this HBP an extremely realistic and amazing movie, which it is probably going to be. I hope they have some extra behind the scenes clips of Dan and Michael Gambon in a rowboat together, that would be really funny.
You know, I always imagined this cave looking a certain way. Sort of like a cave that's on land, but the floor being water, and them going through it, with stalagmites hanging down from the top of the cave, with only the light from their wands, or lanterns guiding their way...this movie is going to be so cool!!

Excellent news that the cave was built and not blue screened. There are some truly terrific scenes in the book and it looks like we will be treated to another brilliant potter film! I feel like this film is in good hands with David Yates!

I think it's brilliant they built the cave rather than doing a whole bunch of special effects & blue screen. I can't wait to see how they do it.

Fantastic! Only a year away! Will be good to have a real cave rather than digitalised one. Can't wait to see the Inferi, it'll be so scary!

School Governor says:
The cave scene will be more spectacular if it being built, as opposed CGI.
I wonder if they will film any scenes for Deathly Hallows at the same time, rather than taking it down and re-building it in a couple of years time.
