On Sunday we let you know
that the first film in theHarry Potter series had been voted favorite film by children in Britain in a poll by First Light Movies, the young people's filmmaking arm of the UK Film Council.
The awards ceremony was held in London earlier this evening and in attendance were Harry Potter actors Imelda Staunton, Katie Leung, Matthew Lewis and Bonnie Wright.

i am not surprised that the first film was "voted favorite film by children" it gave an almost exact referance to "Sorcers Stone" and wasnt dark or evil. it was just an amazing film.

Matt has gotten so big. He does such a great job playing Neville. I don't think anyone could do it better. and he seems like such a good sport when they pull some of these ideas off. like the hanging from the lights in COS and the book attacking him in POA.
