Ahh very cool! I wonder what the competition was like, if there were a lot of other films in the running thats a pretty high percentage to have won by! Thats over a 3rd of the votes. Ahh how fantastic Harry Potter is!

Yay! Why is that not surprising though? :) You have to love the HP movies - they are fun to watch - but the books are better!!

Seriously, this could not be a great shock for anybody. The books and the films are worshipped and with good reason. I am always surprised when I meet children that are not into Harry Potter. Its like a prallel universe or something!

I wold be surprised to hear that about GoF, but not about the others. The Harry Potter movies that are currently out were all good except for GoF. It was an absolute stinker! [Holds nose]

Well, that's good... But how many movies were in the running? I don't know much about British children's films, but it seems like the only really big ones (worldwide released) are the Harry Potters. So... Does it really say anything that an HP flick won?
Not that I'm bashing the movies or anything. Just a question....

I guess the first one won because it was actually the one that made Harry Potter as famous as it is now! It's what the children can best relate to...
However, yes, how many films were included in the votation?

The first Harry Potter movie was definitely the best. So cute and innocent and much closer to canon than the tripe that's being cranked out now. Good for it.

Not surprising. I wonder how many other countries the HP movies would win in. I'm quite sure it would be #1 here in the USA.

Hmmm... the more publicity for Harry Potter the better this next movie will do. After this summer there will only be two more to go. What will we do for a great blockbuster then.

I like that this vote is by kids.... its nice that they get their chance to vote for thier favourites. It would be even nicer if it was by kids around the world, and not just in the UK.
