    A plausible theory I found from someone on the mugglenet forums:
    Hallows = Treasures or Vessels sought by Grail seekers, (Hallowed Objects)

    The four hallows of the Tuatha de Danaan were developed in later traditions to be the four symbols of magical elements, to also be seen on Tarot packs as the four suits:

    1. The Sword;
    2. The Spear;
    3. The Cup;
    4. The Pentacle.

    So I think Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is reaffirming Harry searching for the last 4 Horcruxes, each task being a deathly one that he must destroy.

Seven month thinking ahead.....Some people are reporting the release for next year? what happened to July? bummer...

    I actually knew the title of the book before I went to HPANA or J.K. Rowling's website. I always check my email before going online and I had two emails from Borders telling me that the title had been announced. I did go to HPANA and J.K. Rowling's website after I found out the title because I knew that The Room of Requirement would be open. How cool is the title. I mean it makes sense with what Harry said at the end of HPB he said he had to go back to where it all started which was Godric's Hallow. I can not wait for it to come out.

    Awesome!!!!!!
    This means JKR has finished writing the book! Because she discloses the title of a book only after having finished writing it!!!!
    Thanks JKR! We love you!

    Deathly Hallows, wonder what it means... maybe one of Voldemorts' Horcrux is hidden in there... or perhaps its the venue of the final battle between Harry n LV!
