Bloomsbury's financial state received quite a large bounty from sales of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," releasing figures
that show a 2 percent gain in net profits, which certainly mean much profit in all quarters of the British publisher.
Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, the U.K. publisher of the Harry Potter books, said its first-half profit rose 2 percent, helped by sales of the fifth novel in the series about the student wizard.
Net income rose to 1.92 million pounds ($3 million), or 2.82 pence a share, compared with 1.88 million pounds, or 2.76 pence, in the year-earlier period, Bloomsbury said. Revenue rose 18 percent to 29 million pounds.

Nice to see Bloomsbury is keeping it's head above water! There are, after all, two more books to go! Sure would be nice to see some of that fundage filtered down to the people who make it possible - those who buy the books!
