John Eighner
(a.k.a. Sir_J_Wallis_E)

John is a retired social worker and master woodcarver who currently lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma (although he is originally from Houston, Texas). He's a big Harry Potter fan but he also collects sci-fi and fantasy books, with over 8,000 at last count. John's maternal grandparents were both poets, and among the founders of the Texas Fine Arts Colony in Corpus Christi, Texas. His maternal ancestry is Irish, Welsh, English and Scottish and he is proud to be a descendant of both William Wallace and Robert de Bruce. Eric
(a.k.a. Since the Start)

Eric is a student at the University of Guelph, near Toronto, Canada, studying Biological Sciences and is hoping to go on to medical school in the next few years. He first got interested in Harry Potter back in 1998 on a family vacation and has been hooked since. He has been an HPANA member since 2002 (the very beginning).

Tara
(a.k.a. Tundiel Mehtarion)

Tara was born just over 30 years ago in Cardiff (Wales) and has lived there all her life. She is married with a 10-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter, who both are Harry Potter nuts just like their mom. Tara started reading the books just after her daughter was born, and was hooked from page one. Her other main obsession is the Lord of the Rings books (hence her Elvish username). She joined the site just over a year ago and can generally be found lurking in Fan Fun (where she read as many fics as possible and has even written a few of her own). Tara also enjoys the Library for the many well thought out theories.

Keren
(a.k.a. Ginnyw)

Keren became a fan of Harry Potter in September 2000, when her youngest brother gave her Philosopher's Stone and told her it was a must-read. She was hooked from the very first page and still is. Keren enjoys her family, friends, reading (Harry Potter is her favorite, of course), music, art, movies and chocolate.

Louisa Kiser
(a.k.a. Weesa)

Louisa spends much of her time online, reading and watching movies. She became interested in Harry Potter after watching the first movie with her mother. Since then she has become an avid fan, reading the books multiple times as well as enjoying the films. She found HPANA through JKRowling.com and was very pleased to find a site so accepting of an adult fan.

Justin Jones
(a.k.a. jones_jj)

Justin, aka JJ, is 28 and currently lives in NE Indiana after graduating from Ohio State University with a degree in Math and Computer Science. He is originally from Ohio and is looking to return to the Columbus area eventually, and works as a computer contractor for a number of companies. He became interested in Harry Potter in 2001, after his little brother insisted he read the books. Justin joined HPANA almost a year ago, and enjoys discussing the many different theories, and can't wait till the final book comes out to see whose are closest.

Lee
(a.k.a. Lady Lee)

Amanda Lee (she prefers just Lee) was born in South Korea but has lived most of her life in the States. As an undergrad in college during 2002, a friend introduced her to the world of Harry Potter and she has been hooked ever since. She works with "special needs" children as an aide and is currently pursuing her M.A. in History. Lee has travelled to Western Europe twice and plans on visiting South Korea as well, and enjoys reading about European and Asian history and culture. In addition to the Harry Potter movies, Lee enjoys other types of movies such as; natural disaster, sci-fi, comedy, along with the occasional action or drama.
